Max’s Furrever Friends – Master Service Agreement
1. Services Covered: This agreement applies to all services, including The Weekly Walk Club (4 walks/28 days) and all individual pet care visits.
2. The Weekly Walk Club & Automatic Renewal: Members receive 4 walks per 28-day cycle. This contract automatically renews every 28 days. By joining, you authorize Max’s Furrever Friends to charge your card on file $69.99 (plus applicable fees) at the start of each cycle.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via the Client Portal. To avoid the next scheduled charge, you must cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date.
• Policy: Walks do not roll over. 24-hour notice is required for rescheduling individual walks, or the walk is forfeited.
3. Service Areas:
• The Weekly Walk Club: Strictly limited to Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson NC.
• All Other Services: Available in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Troutman, and Denver, NC.
4. Payment & Online Processing Fees: Payments are due upon receipt. A non-refundable convenience fee of $2.50 is applied to all online credit/debit card transactions processed through the client portal.
• Fee-Free Options: Clients may avoid this fee by paying via Venmo, Cash, or Check.
• Venmo Instructions: To ensure your account is credited correctly, please include your Invoice Number in the payment notes. If paying via Venmo, please ensure “Purchase Protection” is toggled OFF to avoid third-party processing deductions.
5. Safety & Leash Policy: For the safety of your pet, all dogs will remain on a leash during walks unless in a securely fenced-in area provided by the client.
6. Pet Health & Vaccinations: Client confirms pets are up-to-date on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. Max’s Furrever Friends reserves the right to refuse service to aggressive animals.
7. Home Access & Security: Client will provide entry via key or code. We are not liable for home security if other third parties have access during our service window.
8. GPS & Electronic Updates: We provide GPS-tracked “Pup-dates” as a courtesy. While we strive for 100% accuracy, service is subject to cellular provider availability. Technical failure of GPS or software does not constitute a failure of the walking service itself.
9. Waste Disposal: We will pick up all pet waste during walks and dispose of it in the client’s designated outdoor waste bin.
10. Photo Release: Client grants permission to Max’s Furrever Friends to use photos of their pet(s) for social media and marketing purposes.
11. Holidays & Surcharges: Services requested on major holidays may be subject to a surcharge or limited availability.
12. Emergency Care & Liability: In a medical emergency, we are authorized to seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense. Max’s Furrever Friends is insured but is not liable for property damage caused by the pet.
